This privacy policy describes what types of personal data Tråd AS collects and how this personal data is processed.
Tråd AS complies with the Norwegian Personal Data Act (personopplysningsloven). This privacy policy has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of Sections 18 and 19 of the Personal Data Act.
Personal data is information relating to an individual. This may include the person's name, address, place of work, marital status, telephone number, email address, etc. Information regarding your contact with, reason for contact, and form of communication with Tråd AS may also be understood as personal data.
Sensitive personal data is neither collected nor used by Tråd AS. This refers to personal data such as criminal charges, criminal offenses, health information, and the like.
If you would like more information about personal data in general, you can visit: https://www.datatilsynet.no/en/about-privacy/personal-data/.
Tråd AS's own Office Manager is responsible for the company's processing of personal data. In the event of any future delegation, only the tasks are delegated; the responsibility for personal data always rests with Tråd AS.
Tråd AS has two sources of personal data, both of which are based on Section 8 of the Personal Data Act.
Information you provide yourself: The main source of personal data is information you provide. This primarily occurs through the contact form on Tråd AS's website. The contact form serves as the meeting point between potential/existing customers and Tråd AS. It is entirely voluntary whether you wish to fill out such a form or remain a passive visitor to the site. Personal data collected via the contact form includes phone number, email, and name.
Follow-up correspondence: Following the use of the contact form, additional personal information may be generated through email, telephone, and similar correspondence between Tråd AS and you as a potential/existing customer.
Information collected by Tråd AS: Another source of personal data is information Tråd AS collects itself. This collection occurs through Google Analytics. It captures how long you spend on the page, your IP address, which links you click, and the number of users on the site at various times, among other things.
The purpose of the contact form and subsequent correspondence is to follow up on inquiries and obligations toward customers. Tråd AS relies on such an open platform between itself and its customers to ensure satisfactory communication and the final product.
The purpose of the information from Google Analytics is to improve the website experience. This may include making layouts more user-friendly, understanding user trends, increasing efficiency, delivering expected services in a better way, and preventing criminal behavior such as hacking.
The legal basis for Tråd AS's processing of personal data is Section 11 of the Personal Data Act.
The limited amount of personal data Tråd AS collects via you and on its own initiative is very marginal compared to other actors and online services. Consequently, self-administration of personal data—such as settings in apps or settings for personalized advertising—is not applicable here. As mentioned, the personal data collected is not used for such purposes.
However, you always have rights related to your personal data, which you can read more about below.
Tråd AS does not share any personal information from the contact form, its own collections, or information from others with any third party. Should such disclosure nonetheless occur, you will always receive a consent request from us.
In accordance with Section 13 of the Personal Data Act, all personal data Tråd AS receives will be archived on either a secure email or server for the duration of the working relationship between you and Tråd AS. Upon termination of the relationship, all communication and personal data will be deleted within 2 years.
Tråd AS has internal controls to ensure that such archiving, security, and deletion take place according to targets and in accordance with legal standards.
Under the Personal Data Act, you as a user or customer of Tråd AS have the right to be forgotten, the right to data portability, the right of access, and the right against being profiled.
The right to be forgotten means that you can request that all personal data registered with Tråd AS be deleted. If this is not requested, Tråd AS will in any case delete most personal data 2 years after the end of contact.
The right to data portability means that you can receive a digital copy of all personal data Tråd AS has about you. This right also means you can take this personal data to another business if it is technically possible and justifiable. Personal data covered by data portability is data provided to Tråd AS, such as through the contact form, or automated personal data generated through the use of Tråd AS's services.
The right of access means that you have the right to see what information Tråd AS has registered about you.
The right against profiling gives you the right to refuse Tråd AS from mapping your use and behavior to tailor our services to you. Typical examples would be personalized advertising, service development, market research, etc. This is, however, of little relevance to Tråd AS, as Tråd AS has little interest or use for such broad and in-depth mapping.
To exercise one or more of these rights, please contact us. You have a statutory right to receive a response from us within at least 1 month.
Tråd AS has neither the desire nor the need to collect or process personal data about children under the age of 16. Such personal data must come through a guardian.
Personal information left by children with Tråd AS will be deleted as soon as it comes to Tråd AS's knowledge.
Tråd AS does not have a Data Protection Officer since the company is not a public entity, does not process sensitive data, does not engage in systematic mapping of individuals, and does not process personal data regarding criminal offenses.
Tråd AS will, from time to time, update its privacy policy to ensure it maintains the legal standard required by Norwegian law. You will be informed of such updates.
If you have further questions about Tråd AS's privacy policy or other inquiries, you may contact the company.
