Introduction to the Norwegian Standard “NS-EN 17206 Machinery for stages and other production areas”

When installing lifting devices and machinery for use in event and production environments, the Swedish standard from 1996 has expired and been replaced by the NS-EN 17206:2020 standard. This is a new, pan-European standard published in 2020.
Kai Vidar Bech is the official representative from Standard Norge in several European working groups that develop and maintain EN 17206. He will address relevant regulations and discuss the background of NS-EN 17206.
This knowledge is valuable and relevant for anyone who uses or manages stage machinery, as well as solution architects and suppliers. Typical projects where this is particularly important include renovations and new builds of schools, cultural centres, theatres, concert halls, multipurpose venues and similar facilities.
The seminar will take place on the 18th floor at Forum Jæren, centrally located in Bryne.
