Time Church has completed a procurement process in which its audio systems have been upgraded. TRÅD assisted the church with solution recommendations, ensuring that daily needs remained central while staying within the client’s financial framework.
Time Church was opened in 1859, and aesthetics were an important consideration. The new audio system needed to provide excellent speech clarity while also supporting a digital church organ and cultural events. The solution had to offer low user thresholds for everyday operation. To achieve the smallest possible visual footprint, the loudspeakers in the church interior were required to have a slim design and a light colour. For wireless microphones, it was also important that the antenna solution had a discreet design.
Some of the existing infrastructure and equipment has been reused and optimised during the installation of the modern system. The audio system can be operated either via a simple control panel or through a manual digital mixer for extended use. In addition, hearing loops with good coverage have been installed for all listeners.
