Building competence and ensuring safety are key priorities for anyone working with lifting, installation, or rigging in the performing arts. Tråd delivers unique, industry-specific courses tailored to your needs.
The development within our technical disciplines has never been stronger than today.
In recent years, new and comprehensive standards have been introduced across all areas of stage engineering, and the requirements for users, equipment owners, and installers are higher than ever.
At Tråd, we provide industry-leading courses in accordance with the latest standards, including installer training and user safety programs such as fall protection and production rigging.
We are proud to be Norway’s only provider of training for qualified inspectors in Control Class SX – Stage Rigging, setting the benchmark for safety and competence in the performing arts industry.
Training is about education, awareness, and a shift in mindset — this is how lasting learning and improved safety are achieved. All our safety training is conducted in accordance with the Regulation on the Performance of Work (§10-1 and §10-2), and participants receive an official certificate of completion issued by the Central Register for Safety Training.
Our instructors have extensive hands-on experience and first-hand knowledge of the regulations relevant to each course. By offering this type of training, we aim to share as much expertise as possible within the industry, ensuring that every participant receives fresh, up-to-date, and practical knowledge.
